- Chief photographer at the Salem News, Salem MA. I manage a team of 4 photographers who cover 11 communities reaching 30,000 daily print readers and an average of 1M monthly online viewers. I am currently transitioning into video storytelling for online content. I am using the Sony HDV HVR-A1U video camera with Azden wireless microphones. I edit using Final Cut Studio 2 on a 17'' custom built MacBook Pro.
Outside of work I am an avid cyclist and love learning new multimedia trends.

They are teaching us writing and reporting, but there is a huge emphasis on doing everything. Video, audio, and photos in addition to the written stories, and everything we do goes on the web. I'm taking a blogging class and have a required marketing class next quarter. The curriculum has been changing a lot as they try to figure out what to do. They say there's demand for journalists who can do everything, is that what you see?
some months ago I also made an article about people who use the Segway (from home to work) in Lisbon, Portugal. I liked your video!
