Crowdsourcing success!

I ended last week with a flurry of activity on the GT blog.
When I walked in from lunch on Thursday, I learned that the Obama campaign was granting five minutes with some local journalists during a campaign stop Friday afternoon. Of course, the newsroom had some ideas for what to ask, but I thought I'd try to rally the readers and try and get some grassroots questions together.
Good news! People responded with some thought-out topics and I tried to synthesize them into a few questions to pepper the candidate in my short allotment.
I suggested posting the interview as a Q&A in the paper (why add a filter to such a short, pointed interview?) and it was wildly successful over the weekend.
I struggled with posting audio to the WordPress blog, so I still have yet to get that up. Anyone have some pointers on that?

Can't help you with the technical aspect of posting audio, but I liked the Q&A and the blog/reader interaction that preceded it. Great use of a blog to bolster what you do in the print edition.

I use a plugin called PodPress for posting mp3 files to WordPress blogs. It's a bit overfeatured, but gets the basic job done.
