Hey, these headlines aren't very SEO-friendly!

Gawker has a painfully funny post about misleading and/or plain bizarre headlines from CNN. When you're pulling your hair out trying to get the most compelling and Search Engine Optimized (SEO) headline on that story, take heart and check out these, um, gems. Even a news goliath like CNN has its off moments.

Some of my favorites:

Baby pandas! Baby pandas! Baby pandas!—Just imagine the Goog… Continue

Gonna have to face it, you're addicted to (social network) love

I think I have a problem. A serious problem. One that's strangely at odds with a lot of my peers (I think). While pundits and Poynter prod journalists to embrace a social networks, you know, maybe just one or two as a bare minimum, I can't stop joining them.

I was on the beta list for Pownce. I'm an elite member of Yelp. I was on Facebook well before it went outside the college realm and I'm an early adopter of Livejournal (a member since 2000). I book artist interviews through M… Continue

Wow. You left me a comment last month and I totally forgot to respond! Well here it is now.

Hello Maria,

I spotted your contact info and thought I would say hello to a fellow Greek. I have known Howard Owens from our time together in the Digital Media Federation and I am pleased to see this new site launched.

Best regards,
George Dratelis

Hi Maria, thanks for the note. I noticed you're doing a bit of videocasting on the "Purchasing" website. It's a nice touch to the site. We're thinking of setting up something similar for our publication, but we're pretty understaffed. How hard is it to do? What's the time commitment involved? what do you need to get started?

Thanks, Maria! Glad to see you here!

Feel free to start a B2B group, or jump into the New to Video group and let everyone know what it's like getting in front of the camera on a regular basis on your videocast.

Thanks Maria. Good to see you here as well. There aren't enough B2B journalists here yet ... but I'm hoping that changes.
